Much of this new world remains an intriguing mystery to me – it is quite different than the clear-cut profession of architecture. A residency will be a new opportunity to encounter artists at different stages of their careers and to learn from them in a more removed and focused setting. Exposure to a wider variety of artists and the opportunity to observe their processes would be invaluable to me at this point in my career, as I am figuring out how I am going to refine and proceed with my own practice.”
