Conference Hotel

Our conference hotel is the Hilton St. Charles. Located along the historic St. Charles streetcar line, the hotel is 3 blocks from the French Quarter and a 10-minute walk from Louisiana ArtWorks.

Discounted rooms are available for $139/night (book by October 11 and mention Alliance of Artists Communities to receive the discounted rate). If you are interested in sharing a room with another conference attendee, please check "Room Sharing" on the registration form.

Travel

New Orleans is serviced by Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY), just 20 minutes from downtown. Shuttle service is available from the airport to the Hilton for $15 (per person) one-way or $30 (per person) round-trip. Call (866) 596-2699 or (504) 522-3500 for more details or to make a reservation. Cabs are $28 from the airport to the Hilton for one or two persons and $12 (per person) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area.

The main conference sessions will be held at Louisiana ArtWorks, a 10-minute walk from the Hilton. Attendees may also ride the St. Charles streetcar from the hotel to Louisiana ArtWorks. Transportation will be provided to other off-site locations.
