Join us for the Alliance of Artists Communities' 2015 annual conference! October 13 - 16 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Join us in one of the country's most artist-centered cities as we explore ways in which we can advance today's artists - and their role in developing healthy, vibrant, engaged communities. The 2015 Conference will bring together arts leaders, funders, policy-makers, board members, educators, and artists from across the globe for three days of performances, trainings, tours, and talks. All are welcome!

We are thrilled to bring the 2015 Conference to the Alliance's homebase of Rhode Island for our 25th anniversary! Having grown from a small group of dedicated residency leaders to an international network of artist-centered organizations, we are taking the year to celebrate a quarter century of Alliance history and to highlight the amazing contributions of the field. Join us for our 25th Anniversary Celebration at this year's Conference!

AS220 is an artist-run organization committed to providing an unjuried and uncensored forum for arts in Rhode Island. AS220 engages diverse publics and communities of artists through rotating gallery spaces, a community print shop, darkroom, media arts, fabrication and electronics lab, as well as a dance studio, black box theater, and four dozen affordable live/work studios for artists.
