Assistant to Program Director | Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts (Nebraska City, NE)

The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts is seeking a detail-oriented person with excellent communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills to assist the Program Director in implementing all aspects of an established artist-in-residency program.

The successful candidate will have excellent written, and verbal communication skills; experience with bookkeeping and budget management; is proficient using MS Word and Excel, Gmail and Google Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is favored but not required; is self-directed and able to efficiently organize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities; has an appreciation for artists and the fine arts; and can act as a passionate community liaison. Assisting with routine facility tasks and light housekeeping, this position may require frequent lifting up to 5lbs and occasional lifting up to 20lbs.

This position is a part-time position, Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week, and requires occasional evening and weekend hours. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation days, and simple IRA. Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates must live in Nebraska City, NE.
