Chef In Residence| Robert Rauschenberg Foundation | (Captiva Island, Florida)

The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation is accepting applications from culinary artists and chefs to be the 2018 Chef-In-Residence (CIR) at our artists’ residency program on Captiva Island in Southwest Florida. The position is for one year, beginning January 2018. The CIR prepares meals for the artists in residence, while continuing to implement and maintain sustainable practices and has the opportunity to pursue personal culinary interests and research. This inaugural program aligns with the Foundation’s focus on environmental conservation and stewardship, stemming from Robert Rauschenberg’s longstanding concern for the safekeeping of the environment, the notion of individual responsibility, as well as his love of food and cooking.

The selected candidate will have 5+ years experience working in a commercial kitchen, with at least two years in management. The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.

For more information and to apply, go to http://www.rauschenbergfoundation.org/residency/chef-residence.
No phone calls, please. Application deadline is August 1, 2017.
