The Leadership Institute will begin the evening of Wednesday, April 28, and go through Sunday afternoon, May 2, concluding with a sunset boat tour and dinner on May 2. All meals are included (dinner April 28 through breakfast May 3), and will be shared as a group. Participants are expected to attend all sessions and evening meals. Optional yoga and meditation will be offered in the dance studio each morning, and there will be some opportunities for kayaking, going to the beach, and exploring the local community.
Arrival & Check-In: 12-6pm on Wednesday, April 28
Participants are asked to arrive in time to participate in dinner and the opening session, beginning at 6pm.
Departure & Check-Out: By 11am on Monday, May 3
Final sessions will conclude mid-afternoon on Sunday, May 2 and attendees are encouraged to stay through the boat ride and dinner on Sunday evening. For those staying until the morning of May 3, breakfast will be provided.
The retreat will include a variety of sessions, including the presentation of research and trends, facilitated group discussions, small-group exercises, and time for reflection and socializing. The Institute will include the following focus areas (detailed agenda will be provided upon arrival):
- Mapping the Field: What key events have shaped our field? What trends are shaping the environment for artist-centered organizations?
- Leadership Development Foundations
- Exploring Our Cultural Values
- Integrative Leadership: Connecting creative and experiential ways of knowing within our leadership practice

- Sustaining Ourselves, Sustaining Our Missions
