The Herb Alpert Foundation is once again partnering with artist residency programs to provide residencies to artists across disciplines, believing that recognition and financial support are complemented by the nurturing environment of artists’ communities.

This year, the Alpert Foundation is continuing its collaborations with Hedgebrook, The MacDowell Colony, Ragdale Foundation, and Ucross; and the Foundation has forged a new relationship with Instituto Sacatar to award the “Alpert/Sacatar Prize in Film/Video”. In addition, the Alpert Foundation has made a commitment to fund a $1500 stipend to each Alpert Residency recipient.
