2016 NALAC Leadership Institute

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) Leadership Institute is a week-long rigorous program in arts management and leadership development that delivers innovative and practical strategies which lead to successful business practices in the arts. The dynamic learning environment cultivates a familiar, inclusive cultural space that provides multiple generations of Latino artists, arts managers and cultural promoters the support, knowledge, and agency to confidently respond to and initiate solutions to complex cultural questions. The 2016 Institute will be held in San Antonio, Texas from July 11-16, 2016. Learn more and apply here.

AS220 Immersive Residency for Artists/Managers

AS220 is hosting their second five-day Immersive Residency for Artists/Managers (AIR/AM) April 6-10, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island. AIR/AM seeks to bring a diverse group of practitioners together in a fertile environment to share and learn from each other. Workshops will include presentations by AS220 staff and expert visiting faculty, and will allow plenty of time for discussion and debate. Topics covered include: organizational sustainability, strategic development, property management, accessibility, and building internal and cross-sector partnerships. Read more and apply here.
