Project Grant

Non-member

Project Grant is a socially engaged artist residency program that is operated out of the home of artist, Tina Dillman, in Buffalo, NY. The residency hosts multiple artists over the course of each summer that work collaboratively to produce free public programming for disenfranchised communities around the city. Each artist is provided with on-site amenities such as studio space, room/board, a bicycle, wash/dryer and a stipend. Artists also have access to off-site spaces in the community for workshops, talks, events and exhibitions.

Open application. Residency length: 2-4 weeks. Serves: One artist in residence at a time

Project Grant, is located on the West Side in Buffalo, in a highly diverse neighborhood, with many small and family run businesses. The residency is centrally located where one could walk to the store, or local coffee shop, ride their bike to the park, and/or drive a short distance (15 minutes) to the art museums or downtown.
