Sun Peaks Center for Art and Sustainability

Emerging Program member

Sun Peaks Center for Art and Sustainability provides a place of tranquility in an environment of magnificent natural beauty. Artists in residence create new works inspired by the elements and sustainability "green" systems while in residence. Generally, an exhibition or some public presentation of these works takes place during or shortly after the residency. In most cases, artists in residence are also expected to involve the community in some fashion. We offer residencies of either two weeks or a month. We do provide a stipend of $500 for the two weeks and $800 for the month to help offset expenses.

Location

Colorado Springs, Colorado: United States

Sun Peaks Center for Art and Sustainability is located in scenic Colorado Springs, in the foothills of the majestic Pikes Peaks Mountain Range. Sitting high on a knoll, there is a breathtaking 360 degree view.
