Past Residents & Quotes

To have lived and worked in James Thurber's house is beyond words. Being tucked away on the third floor, in the comfort of my own apartment, was a liberating and exhilarating experience. And the luxury of time is a memory I will always cherish. But just as much, was the feeling of welcome I received from the Thurber staff, the community, and especially the young authors I met.”
