Women's International Study Center (WISC)

Non-member

WISC offers Fellowships for periods in residence at the Center in Santa Fe. The essential element is that the work of Fellows focuses on women in the arts, sciences, cultural preservation or business. The period of residence is normally a month with a stipend of $1,000. Two-week or two-month residences with proportional stipends are also possible. Each Fellow is expected to make a public presentation during the period in residence. Ideally, productive cross-disciplinary dialogues will develop among the Fellows-in- Residence.

Invited Fellows are individuals who are accomplished and respected in their fields, and who are nominated by their peers or colleagues. Fellows-in-Residence are scholars, academics, published authors and acknowledged experts in their fields who may apply directly to become Fellows-in-Residence at WISC.
